Government, News 0 5

city of dupont logoDrivers and residents should be aware of roadwork beginning on Friday, June 21 in the Hoffman Hill area of DuPont.

The city is partnering with Pierce County Public Works to complete street crack sealing in that area. To facilitate the work, the city will street sweep along the center portions of Hoffman Hill Boulevard and Ridgeview Drive in advance of June 21.

Sweeping of parking areas and curb lines along these roads will be scheduled at a later date. Additional crack sealing work is scheduled to occur on Fridays over the next several weeks, as weather allows, in Yehle Village and along portions of McNeil and Center Drive.

Roads will remain open to traffic during the work with appropriate traffic controls in place as needed.

City and county officials would like to remind motorists to drive carefully and obey all temporary traffic controls while driving through the work zones.
