DuPont’s Tree Lighting Ceremony scheduled for Nov. 30

The City of DuPont will kick off the holidays on Friday, November 30 at Ross Plaza Park with its annual Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Festivities begin at 4:30 p.m. with Candy Cane Lane. At 5 p.m., menu selections from local DuPont restaurants will be available in the lobby of Community 1st Credit Union for $5 per plate.

The lighting of the Christmas Tree will take place at 6 p.m.  Arts and crafts will be available for the kids, along with caroling and live music. Steilacoom Historical School District students will be singing holiday carols during the event.  Please dress according to the weather, as the event will take place, rain or snow.

The Northwest Landing Commercial Owners Association and Residential Owners Association are helping sponsor this city event.
